Many years of farming and crafting Cabernet Sauvignon in the Napa Valley across appellations as diverse as Oakville, Howell Mountain, Stags Leap District and St. Helena, have helped us to intimately know the very best sites—each with its defining characteristics—from which to create Bella Union Cabernet.
Upon first sip, Bella Union offers exuberant plum and black cherry aromas, signature notes of the Bella Union Vineyard. The wine is luscious with supple tannins that provide a framework for longevity. The finish lingers with persistent fruit flavors and notes of toasty oak, black pepper and espresso bean.
A brand-new offering from Bella Union, the Rutherford Estate Sauvignon Blanc is overflowing with ripe fruit, while perfectly balanced with the crisp acidity and mineral notes for which this grape is so renowned. An intensely fragrant nose of white blossom opens up into floral spice offset by refreshing minerality. The silky body bursts with fleshy white peach and juicy golden plum notes, expertly balanced by the citrusy acidity. And yet, it's the subtle tropical tones lifting the finish that invite one to linger over each delicious sip.
